Change in School Meals Policy

September 22, 2015

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to make you aware of a few changes. It has been decided to not adopt a new charging policy. This means that no one is allowed to charge meals (this includes adults and students). Payment can be sent in with your child/children each day or pre-pay on their account to ensure that there is no interruption in meal service. If you would like a copy of this policy, contact the Superintendent or myself.

Also, at the start of the school year it was intended for every grade to have the salad bar option. The decision was made a few days into the school year that only 3rd through 12th grade would have that option. This decision was based on lots of discussion between teachers, staff, and the principal. October’s menu will reflect all the changes that have been made. In the mean time, if you have any questions, please call me at 448-2260.

Thank you,

April Crone

Food Service Director
